Land Rover Series III – original vintage 1970s keyring – collector’s item

An original Land Rover keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s .

Just this one example to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This original Land Rover keyring is in good condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .

The vitreous enamel badge is in very good condition – the nickel plating has some wear over the ‘ LAND ROVER ‘ text  which stands proud of the enamel surface which can be seen to an exaggerated degree in the enlarged high resolution photos .

Viewed in the flesh at life size this is hardly noticeable unless you are looking specifically for it – we hadn’t noticed until we viewed the photos in the listing !!

The leather keyfob which is of a generous thickness is also in good condition .

Original Land Rover keyrings like this one are very few & far between – particularly in this condition – the keyrings are much rarer than the vehicles themselves.

In the 1970s Land Rovers were essentially working vehicles and Land Rover keyrings suffered the same level of use & abuse as the vehicles themselves – with the result that very few original keyrings have survived.

This keyring is original & correct for use with 1971 onwards Series III Land Rover .
