The badges mounted onto these keyrings are in excellent quality modern hard enamel and have been bought in from a licensed supplier – we do not hold our own licence to reproduce the Mercedes Benz logo.
They are very similar to the badges which were supplied with new cars from dealerships in the very late 1970s & 1980s.
The blue enamel is hard enamel ( resin based) -The quality of the badge is fine by modern standards – but not to the standard of a genuine vitreous enamel badge.
The badge has three segments cut away to reveal the underlying leather keyfob.
An original example of a late 1970s Mercedes dealership keyring with this cut away badge can be seen on the ‘Examples of original keyrings’ page in the GALLERY on this website.
The badge is available mounted onto our teardrop, slimline teardrop & classic rectangular keyfob shapes in all of our leather colours.
