NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
An original Mercedes Benz keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1980s .
When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled
These acrylic keyfob badges were originally made by Renamel Ltd of 10, Kilburn High Road London although by the 1980s they had relocated to Honeypot Lane also in London .
At that time almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were still being made in England – it was quite an industry .
Renamel were the only firm producing acrylic dome badges at the time.
The badges have lasted very well over the years – in many cases better than the traditional vitreous enamel badges as they have the advantage of not chipping when dropped onto a concrete floor !
This badge is in very good condition apart from some very small indents in the plated metal mount at 6 0’clock on the edge of the badge – these can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos but are not particularly noticeable when viewed at life size with the naked eye.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive. SMOSO 00/53 04/22
