Mercedes Benz – original 1990s? acrylic badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

A couple of original Mercedes Benz keyfob badges which we would date as having been produced in the 1990s which we have remounted onto new leather keyfobs as can be seen in the photos.

We have just 2 keyrings with these badges to offer – when both have been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Original Mercedes Benz keyfob badges similar to those which were made by Renamel Ltd of London .

Other manufacturers had started to produce these acrylic badges by the 1990s – so these badges are unlikely to have been made by Renamel .

Both of these acrylic dome badges are in very good condition and we have remounted them onto new leather keyfobs in navy blue leather – Mercedes Benz often used navy blue leather for keyfobs .

Renamel were the first badgemakers to make keyrings with these acrylic dome badges which have lasted very well over the years and do have the advantage over the more traditional vitreous enamel badges in that they do not chip if dropped onto a hard concrete floor !
