This keyring is an original item which dates from the 1970s

An original Mercedes Benz keyring dating from the 1970s .

This keyring is in very good condition with a vitreous enamel badge in dark cobalt blue enamel mounted onto a faux leather keyfob.

Viewed at life size the badge appears to be in perfect order but when magnified ( as in the high resolution photos in the website listing ) some slight enamel ‘nibbling’ of the edge of the white enamel star is revealed.

Nothing to worry about but best mentioned .

This keyring is a rare survivor of the type of keyring which was commonly used with Mercedes Benz motor cars in the 1970s.

Most other examples have either now worn out or been discarded over the years as the cars were sold from owner to owner.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
