We do not hold our own licence to produce badges with the Mercedes Benz logo.
These superb quality badges in ‘old school’ vitreous enamel were produced several years ago and we will not be able to obtain any more when we have used up our small existing stock of badges .
It is known that Mercedes Benz did occasionally offer keyrings in tan pigskin leather – and a few customers have asked us to produce a Mercedes Benz keyring in this material – so here is the result.
Pigskin leather is a most up-market material which was sometimes used for special keyrings for prestige cars – the main one being Aston Martin who did make use of pigskin leather for some of their keyrings.
Pigskin leather is almost a material of the past – and it took us quite some time to locate a grade of genuine pigskin suitable for making a leather keyfob.
Suede & nubuck pigskin seems generally available but is totally unsuitable for keyring production – the pigskin leather which we eventually tracked down was from a manufacturer of hipflasks who had closed down. The pigskin leather had been used to cover leather panels on the hipflasks which they produced.
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given
