NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
A superb original MG keyring dating from the late 1950s or very early 1960s – this is just about as authentic as you can get .
Probably produced to accompany MGA – this is a rare surviving example of the type of keyring which the cars were driven with at the time.
The keyring is in really excellent condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a red vinyl keyfob.
Vinyl was often used for keyfobs for open cars and motorcycles at the time – not just as an economy measure.
It was assumed that vinyl was less likely to be ruined by wet weather – which could be the case on an open motorcycle but perish the thought in an open car !
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 59/94 07/20
