MG ( MGB, Midget etc ) – original 1960s Polco vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original MG keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

A rare badge – these shield shaped badges were produced by a small badgemaking concern known as ‘POLCO’ which stood for ‘POOL CLOCK COMPANY’ which is just about all we know about them !

They were around in the 1960s making keyfob badges for quite a lot of British makes of vehicle but disappeared before the decade was out.

This is only the 2nd example of one of their badges which we have ever listed over the years .

The badge is in good condition with quite a few very minor scratches & scrapes which can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos but are not particularly noticeable when viewed at life size with the naked eye.

This badge would have been produced with early MGB & MG Midget in mind.

We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather which has resulted in a very different & distinctive keyring for use with either of those models.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
