MG ( MGB) – original vintage 1970s/ 1980s Manhattan Windsor keyring in used condition

An original MG keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s or 1980s for the many thousands of MG and MGB cars which were on the roads in daily use at the time .

Just this one example to offer of this keyring in this used condition  – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 

‘ Used condition’ rather lets this keyring down ……………it is simply a keyring which has seen some use rather than being in mint unused condition .

This keyring is actually in very good condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in full grain black leather gold embossed ‘ REAL LEATHER ‘ .

The vitreous enamel badge has a few unimportant minor scratches and scrapes which show up in the enlarged high resolution photos but can hardly be seen when viewed at life size unless you are looking specifically for them .

The leather keyfob is still in perfect condition but has signs of having been used as any leather item will develop in use.

Made by the famous Manhattan Windsor Co. of Birmingham – their details are cast into the back of the badge.

Manhattan Windsor were the premier manufacturer of automotive keyrings in England in the 1970s – the quality of their keyrings has never been bettered since.

These keyrings will have been produced for use with MGB in mind but would also be correct for Midget or any MG of the period ( MG 1100 etc ) – some cars are still being used with one of these very keyrings which will have been with the car since new.

These keyrings were produced over quite a time span – from the 1970s onwards.
