MG ( MGB ) – original vintage new old stock condition 1970s/ 1980s Manhattan Windsor keyring

An original MG keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s or 1980s for use with the many thousands of MG & MGB cars which were in daily use at the time .

Just this one example to offer of this keyring in this new old stock condition -when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 

This keyring is in new old stock condition and is unlikely to have ever been used and is a shining example of just how beautifully made some British car keyrings were 40 years ago .

The nickel plated vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather gold embossed ‘ TOP GRAIN LEATHER  ‘

Made by the famous Manhattan Windsor Co. of Birmingham – their details are cast into the back of the badge.

Manhattan Windsor were the premier manufacturer of automotive keyrings in England in the 1970s – the quality of their keyrings has never been equalled before or  since.

Keyrings like this one will have been produced for use with MGB in mind but would also be correct for Midget or any MG of the period ( MG 1100 etc ) – some cars are still being used with one of these very keyrings which will have been with the car since new.

These keyrings were produced over quite a time span – from the 1970s onwards .
