NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
Original vintage torpedo keyrings like this one are rapidly appreciating in value – particularly if they represent a popular marque such as MG and were issued by a well known dealership at the time.
This torpedo keyring is in good condition for it’s age – it was issued in the late 1950s.
The vitreous enamel badge simply has one scratch on it’s face ( no enamel chips – which is unusual ) and is mounted onto a genuine leather torpedo keyring which is in good serviceable condition and polished with use over the years.
Gold embossed with John C. Beadle’s dealership details- a very well known Austin, Morris & MG dealer whose Spital Street, Dartford showroom was a mecca for enthusiasts in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Just look at that ‘phone no. – DARTFORD 22201 ! Dartford residents would kill for a ‘phone no. like that nowadays.
The keyring was made by the famous CUD Company of Leicester ( Castles Unit Development Co. ) who made these iconic torpedo keyrings at that time.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/57 07/20
