MG ( TF, Magnette, MGA )- original late 1950s Sculthorp vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original MG keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1950s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An original vitreous enamel MG keyfob badge and we have just this one example which we are offering mounted onto one of our slimline teardrop keyfobs in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.

The badge is in very good condition apart from having a small area of dark shading beneath the enamel which can be seen in the listing photos.

This will have been there since the badge was made – in those days the enamel was hand laid and flaws did occur.

The badge was made by Sculthorps of London – they were quite prolific badgemakers in the late 1950s but seem to have disappeared by the early 1960s.

This badge is original & date correct for use with later MGTF, ZA/ZB Magnette and MGA . SMOSO   59/94   03/22
