Morris – original vintage 1960s new old stock Melsom ( Heath & Machin ) keyring

We have just 3 examples to offer of these superb original vintage Morris keyrings with a tan leather keyfob which date from the 1960s.

New old stock – and in superb condition having obviously been in storage since they were made – these are some of the very best original Morris keyrings which we have ever listed .

The enamel badges are mounted onto keyfobs in genuine tan embossed leather .

Apparently made at the time by Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham – their details are cast into the back of the badges .

In the 1960s Melsom Products made keyrings for most makes of car ( British, American & European ) and these were exported worldwide – it was quite an industry.

However it is just the badges which were made by Melsoms…………….these keyrings would actually have been made for Melsom Products by Heath & Machin of Walsall .

Heath & Machin made their own keyrings but they were primarily a leatherworks and mounted keyfob badges onto leather keyfobs for other manufacturers like Melsoms .

Top quality British made products made at a time when manufacturing standards of many products were beginning to decline rapidly.

Original & correct for use with any Morris motor car of the period – how many of those cars remaining will now be driven with a completely original keyring like this one ?

These are the actual keyrings that the cars were being used with at the time.
