NSU Prinz – original 1960s vitreous enamel melsom badge inlaid into a new leather keyfob

An original NSU Prinz badge which was produced in the 1960s which we have remounted inlaid into a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

We had always assumed that keyfob badges had never been made for NSU Prinz – we had never seen one over the 10 years we have run this business.

Then this badge appeared !

This vitreous enamel badge is in superb condition and was made by Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham at the time.

Melsoms made keyrings & keyfob badges for almost every car & motorcycle – even NSU Prinz as it turns out.

Almost all keyrings & keyfob badges for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

We have inlaid the badge into a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos which are of this actual keyring.

This badge is original & correct for 1958-1973 NSU Prinz.
