Original Vintage & Restored Leather Keyrings for Classic Cars & Motorcycles

Original 1960s Henlys Jaguar dealership vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

An original vintage Henlys keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This vitreous enamel badge is in superb condition apart from a small mark in the plating on the back of the badge which can only be seen when the badge is flipped up from the keyfob .

Most importantly the vitreous enamelling on the front face of the badge is in mint condition – very unusual because almost all of the Henlys badges which we see have damaged enamel – usually in the sharp corners at the base of the badge.

Almost all Henlys keyfob badges which have seen some use will have enamel loss at the bottom corners of the badge – this badge is perfect.

We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.

In the early to mid 1960s Henlys generally had their keyrings made by P.R.Bradbury or Fattorini & Sons – both in Birmingham.

By the late 1960s many of their badges were being made without a maker’s name – the badge on this keyring is unmarked.

Henlys Jaguar/Rover dealership was founded in 1947 by Herbert Henly.

The original premises gave it’s name to Henlys Corner on the London North Circular Road and also Henlys Roundabout in Hounslow.

Goodness knows how many Jaguar cars will have passed through the dealership in the 1950s & 1960s.

Needless to say – Bud Marston has a section in his ‘Vintage Jaguar Keyrings’ book featured here in this website shop describing Henlys keyrings.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.  SMOSO    00/541         06/21
