Peugeot – original 1960s vitreous enamel on gilt shield badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Peugeot keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This gilt plated vitreous enamel keyfob badge is in excellent condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .

In the 1960s the vitreous enamel was often still individually hand laid and a small section of the enamel at the top of the badge is in a slightly lighter shade of blue ………all part of the charm of these original vintage badges !

We have fitted a splitring in an ‘ aged ‘ gilt finish to match the gilt plating on the badge .

The reverse of the badge has acquired a venerable patina – this could be polished if you prefer but we always leave it be .

‘ MADE IN ENGLAND’ marked on the back of the badge – at that time almost all keyrings and keyfob badges for the world’s cars were still made in England .

It was quite an industry .

This badge will be original & correct for use with any Peugeot motor car of the period .
