Porsche – new old stock early 2000s hinged crest badge keyring – the final version

An original Porsche keyring which will have been produced in the early 2000s .

Just this one keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Please note that this keyring is NOT one of the original ‘ Heubach ‘ keyrings although it has been produced along the same lines .

We do not know how many of these later version keyrings will have been produced but most will have been used and it is probably unusual to find one like this one in unused condition .

The original ‘Heubach’ Porsche crest keyrings with a vitreous enamel badge hinged onto a genuine leather keyfob with a little leather strap have now become very sought after and were produced up until the 1990s .

They were then replaced by keyrings like this one probably only for a short while until the very familiar modern Porsche keyring with the badge bonded ( not hinged ) onto the surface of the keyfob started to appear ………………please do not confuse this keyring with one of those .

This keyring has the same hinged badge as the original ‘Heubach’ keyrings but the badge is not marked ‘Heubach’ on the reverse – probably because Heubach were no longer producing the badges .

The reverse of the badge still has the same stippled pattern however .

This keyring is in new old stock condition and will never have been used .

The enamel badge ( now in  modern resin based enamel ) is mounted onto a keyfob in faux Navy blue leather still with a degree of the trademark ‘plumping’ effect within the keyfob which the Heubach keyrings had ( and the recent keyrings with the bonded badge do still have )

The faux Navy blue leather is very convincing …………we did have to look very hard to eventually decide that it is not in genuine leather .
