NOW SOLD – Sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
It is often difficult to place an accurate date on a keyring – and this one is no exception.
Drawing on our experience of how the badge is made and the material and colour of the keyfob we would think that it dates from the mid to late 1970s.
The ‘diamond cut’ of the gilt plated splitring is an additional clue.
Splitrings like this have not been produced for around 40 years.
The keyring is in mint condition and will be new old stock having never been used.
The badge is in gilt plate with enamel detail and is mounted onto a faux leather keyfob in a dark burgundy colour.
Porsche keyrings from the 1970s and early 1980s were sometimes presented on burgundy leather and burgundy faux leather.
It is a challenge to source original Porsche keyrings in good condition to list for sale here in our website shop due to what few original examples which do appear having risen dramatically in value recently in line with the values of the cars themselves.
The keyring in the listing is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/59 01/20
