Home / Online Shop / Porsche – original vintage 1970s Renamel keyring
1 in stock
An original Porsche keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1970s .
We have just this one example in this condition to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
This keyring is in excellent condition with an acrylic domed badge mounted onto a keyfob in Navy blue faux leather .
It will have been produced by Renamel of Kilburn High Road , London – they were the main producer of these acrylic badged keyrings at the time although other manufacturers soon started producing keyrings with acrylic badges as well .
Their earliest keyrings were marked ‘ RENAMEL ‘ but later keyrings like this one were simply marked ‘MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ as this one is .
Acrylic badged keyrings were produced as ‘budget’ keyrings and were cheaper to buy than their vitreous enamel badged counterparts.
Apart from price – another main advantage was that these acrylic badges did not chip like their more expensive vitreous enamel counterparts when dropped onto a hard concrete floor !
As they were relatively cheap to buy at the time they were not particularly valued by their owners – and were soon discarded when they became worn or when the owner changed from a Porsche to another make of car – so original examples still in good condition like this one are relatively scarce survivors .
Having said that – keyrings like these were readily available at the time and were probably the most used keyrings in all models of Porsche so must be regarded as original and correct for those cars
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
