Porsche - original vintage 1990s vitreous enamel Porsche crest shield keyring

These original Porsche crest keyrings with a vitreous enamel badge hinged onto a genuine black leather keyfob with a little leather strap have now become very sought after particularly if in excellent condition like this one.

Please do not confuse these keyrings with the modern Porsche keyrings with resin enamel badges surface mounted onto imitation leather keyfobs .

Keyrings like this one ( if you are lucky enough to find them ) could be even more expensive in the future as interest in vintage Porsche keyrings continues to grow.

The keyring in this listing is in excellent condition and would be the ideal candidate for everyday use as mint condition unused Porsche crest keyrings have now become rather too valuable for everyday use.

This keyring has been used but the vitreous enamel badge is perfect with no enamel issues whatsover- this is the most important thing of all.

As always happens – the ‘whiff’ of gilt plating originally applied to the raised parts of the badge has disappeared to reveal a pleasing bright nickel plated finish.

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather with the trademark ‘plumping’ effect within the keyfob.

The leather keyfob is also in excellent condition .

It is difficult to date these keyrings exactly as they had a long period of issue but we are advised by one of our customers in Germany that examples like these will most likely date from the 1990s – we are very grateful for his input.
