We are not licensed by Jaguar Land Rover Ltd to reproduce any of the recent Land Rover logos and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature any of those logos ( apart from one which we were licensed to produce in 2013 )
The keyring in this listing features an historic Range Rover keyfob badge logo originally produced by British Leyland dating from the 1970s and this keyring is intended to be used with classic Range Rover vehicles .
Licensing of this badge is handled by British Heritage and our badgemaker is licensed by British Heritage to produce this badge.
This vitreous enamel keyfob badge is based on the original badge which was produced for use with the classic 1970 – 1995 Range Rover .
Customers have asked us to make Range Rover keyrings using this badge in genuine black or tan pigskin leather – so we are now adding this keyring to our range as a regular item.
Pigskin leather was occasionally used for keyfobs for prestige marques such as Aston Martin and was ( and is ) a very hard wearing and luxurious material.
It has taken us a long while to locate genuine pigskin leather of the correct grade – it is almost a thing of the past.
The stock which we have managed to secure was from a closed manufacturer of hip flasks in The Midlands – where pigskin leather was used to cover the hip flasks.
These genuine pigskin leather keyfobs are available in just 2 colours – black or London tan – please select accordingly when ordering.
