Riley - original vintage 1970s/ 1980s blue diamond keyring - made in New Zealand

An original Riley keyring which will have been made in the 1970s or 1980s – when there were still plenty of Riley cars on the roads ..

The keyring is in very good condition with an enamel blue diamond badge mounted onto a peardrop keyfob in genuine black leather silver embossed ‘GENUINE LEATHER’ on the reverse .

Close inspection of the back of the badge reveals that the keyring was made in New Zealand- certainly not the first keyring from New Zealand which we have ever listed.

There was obviously quite a thriving automotive keyring manufacturer in New Zealand all those years ago.

What puzzles us is how New Zealand -made keyrings came to the United Kingdom when we had a thriving keyring industry here ourselves at that time !

This keyring is original & correct for any Riley motor car anywhere in the world !
