Rolex – original vintage keyring by Manhattan Products

An original Rolex  keyring which will probably have been produced between the 1980s and 2000 – difficult to say .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer -when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Only the 4th example of one of these original Rolex keyrings which we have ever seen and listed ………the others were listed some time apart and 2 were bought by one of our regular customers in USA – one for himself & one for his brother .

This keyring is an original Rolex keyring which is in good serviceable condition .

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob of generous thickness in genuine black leather

The badge is plated in a gilt finish and does have some light wear to the surface of the enamel .

The keyfob is in very good condition also with some slight wear – mainly to the surface of the little leather hinge which retains the badge to the keyfob – this can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos .

The price of this keyring does reflect the wear that is mentioned above – this keyring has been used .

Rolex certainly knew who to commission to make their keyrings …………..the famous Manhattan Products of Birmingham- who then became the famous Manhattan Windsor Company who produced some of the very best car keyrings ever produced .

Manhattan’s details are cast into the back of the badge .

Manhattan Windsor went on to produce keyrings for Aston Martin and most other makes of prestige motor cars at the time – sadly they have been closed for many years.
