Rover – original vintage 1950s keychain – collector’s item

An original Rover keychain which will have been produced in the mid 1950s .

We have just this one example of this keychain to offer  – when this keychain has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

What a superb item !

Only the 2nd example of one of these very early Rover keychains which we have ever listed .

This original keychain is in really excellent condition with jewellery grade vitreous enamelling on a gilt plated badge .

Incredibly the keychain is original ……………..these are almost always broken or have been replaced .

This one is the original item – known as a ‘ snakechain’ for obvious reasons .

Keychains like this one were the very first car keyrings which were ever produced .

They preceded the keyrings with leather keyfobs which started to make an appearance in the very late 1950s.

The Rover keychain in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and is original & correct for use with any 1950s Rover car .
