Saab – original 1970s vinyl inlay ‘airplane’ badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Saab keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced in the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An original Saab keyfob badge with the ‘airplane’ design probably dating from the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide .

The badge is in good condition for it’s age with a vinyl decal inlaid within an aluminium mount .

The vinyl decal is not centred completely accurately within the mount – it is leaning slightly to the left as can be seen .

In the 1970s these decals would have been hand applied to the mounts and accuracy was not always perfect.

There is some slight marking on the edge of the aluminium mount at 9 0’clock on the face of the mount – this can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos .

These vinyl inlay badges have stood the test of time very well – at least they do not chip like a vitreous enamel badge when dropped onto a hard surface !

This badge will be original & correct for use with any 1970s Saab motor car.
