Saab – original late 1960s/ early 1970s vitreous enamel ‘airplane’ badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

An original Saab ‘airplane’ keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced in the late 1960s or very early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An original vitreous enamel Saab keyfob badge which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide .

The badge is in very good condition and is in a most attractive translucent blue enamel showing a sunburst effect .

Towards the top of the badge the fact that the enamel is translucent reveals where there has been a small impact to the enamel – this can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos – just to the left hand side of the top of the second ‘A’ of ‘SAAB’ .

This is most unlikely to cause any problems in the future .

There is no sign of this on the enamel surface and if the enamel had been the more usual solid opaque enamel then it would not be visible .

The badge has ‘Made in England’ cast into the reverse- almost all keyrings and keyfob badges for the world’s cars were made in England at that time – it was quite an industry.

This badge will be is original & correct for use with any 1960s or 1970s or Saab motor car.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive. SMOSO  59/94    09/23
