We are very lucky to have the remaining stock of these original vitreous enamel shield badges which date from the mid 1950s.
These will have been made in Birmingham but the maker is unknown.
Condition of the badges is excellent – they are new old stock and feature the Standard shield logo. There is slight yellow staining of the left hand side of the white enamel on the shield- you would hardly notice this had we not mentioned it. This will have been present since the badges were fired and is typical of many early vitreous enamel badges and can be seen in the photos.
They are the very earliest example of a badge for a keyring for a Standard car- keyrings were only just becoming generally available in the mid 1950s.
Original & correct for your Standard Vanguard II or III, Vanguard Sportsman, Ensign, Vignale and 8/10/Pennant.
These really are quite a find – and we have never seen any other examples over the last few years. If your Standard car is one of the best then it deserves one of these keyrings which will cost about the same as very few gallons of fuel & will last a lot longer !
Available mounted onto our teardrop, slimline teardrop, classic rectangular & hinged teardrop keyfob shapes in all of our leather colours.
Don’t miss out on these badges – when all have been remounted & sold then this listing will be cancelled.
