Subaru - original vintage 1980s? keyring

An original Subaru keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1980s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Please note that the enamel badge has some discolouration in the enamel and also a chip in the enamel in the bottom left hand corner of the badge .

The listing price takes this into account and the keyring is listed because original Subaru keyrings with vitreous enamel badges like this one are so scarce .

Original Subaru keyrings with vitreous enamel badges of any description are very scarce items – we have listed hardly any over the last 10 years.

We would think that this keyring dates from the 1980s with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather gold embossed ‘GENUINE HIDE ‘

To our eyes the badge could actually date from earlier than the leather keyfob itself – so we do wonder if this badge has been remounted onto a later leather keyfob by someone before we received it . Of little consequence probably but we do make every effort to describe each keyring to the best of our ability .
