The Bedford Garage Exeter – original vintage new old stock 1960s keyring by Caxton of Kew – collector’s item

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

An original The Bedford Garage Exeter keyring which we would think will date from the 1960s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Probably the nicest original 1960s motor dealership keyring which we have ever listed !

This keyring is in mint new old stock condition with a jewellery quality vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan ‘ corrected grain’ leather .

‘Corrected grain ‘ leather was a very high grade of leather with the top layer removed – so that the leather surface was perfect and showing no natural grain at all- very popular at the time but nowadays most people prefer leather to look like leather .

The keyring was made by Caxton of Kew – a very well respected manufacturer of high quality keyrings and badges at that time .

Just compare this superb keyring which would have been issued with a new car at the time with the typical keyring issued with a new car now – if a keyring is even issued.

As well as being a beautifully made item – this keyring would be of particular interest if placed with a Rover, MG or Riley car known to have passed through The Bedford Garage Exeter at the time.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .

Sorry that it is rather expensive but we paid quite a price for this keyring as we were so impressed with the quality . SMOSO  00/57   09/23
