Home / Online Shop / Toyota Motor – original vintage 1960s keyring – collector’s item
NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
An original Toyota keyring which will have been produced in the late 1960s.
We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
What a superb keyring – and possibly the oldest keyring which we have ever listed for Toyota .
We did have some similar keyrings with the badges mounted onto larger keyfobs some time ago but they will have been produced slightly later by Freeline of Bristol .
Whilst original and correct for early Toyota vehicles – this keyring would look good and be a conversation piece if used in a modern Toyota !
This keyring is in excellent condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .
At first sight we assumed it would have been made by Melsom Products of Birmingham as the keyfob shape is very close to the one which they generally used – but the badge is not marked Melsom and the keyfob is not embossed with their trademark .
In that case we are not sure which manufacturer made this keyring – but possibly Heath Machin of Walsall .
In the 1960s & 1970s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England by many manufacturers – it was quite an industry.
This keyring will be original & correct for 1960s or early 1970s Toyota Land Cruiser, Sports 800, Celica or Crown
and would also be worthy of use with a 2000 GT .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive . SMOSO 00/56 08/23
