NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
We are not licensed by Triumph Motorcycles to reproduce the Triumph logo and none of the keyrings listed here for sale in this website shop feature Triumph keyfob badges with the Triumph logo which have been made by us.
The keyring in this listing is an original vintage item dating from the late 1960s.
We have just this one example of this scarce keyring to offer- an original example of a Triumph Renamel keyring which is a rare survivor of a type of keyring which was being used with the bikes at the time.
This is an original keyring dating from the late 1960s and was made by Renamel of Kilburn High Road London who specialised in making acrylic badged keyrings at that time.
These domed acrylic badges have stood the test of time very well – better than the traditional vitreous enamel badges which soon became chipped if dropped on hard surfaces.
Very few original keyrings for Triumph motorcycles have survived.
The reason for this is easy to guess :- the bikes were used in anger in at the time and were not cosseted classics as they often are today. The keyrings received similar use/abuse with life on the open road not being very conducive to longevity.
This keyring is in excellent condition and can hardly have been used.
The acrylic domed badge is mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather.
Beneath the badge are Renamel’s details.
This keyring is original & correct for use with any 1960s Triumph motorcycle – probably thousands of these keyrings were in use at that time when many thousands of Triumph bikes were in daily use on the roads.
Almost all of those keyrings will by now have been lost, worn out or simply thrown away when the owner changed the bike for a Japanese bike or a car.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled. 00/54 12/20
