An original vintage Triumph Spitfire keyring which will have been produced in the early 1970s .

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Original keyrings for Triumph Spitfire are rare items – very few seem to have been produced at the time.

This keyring is the only example of it’s kind which we have ever seen and listed – it is a very rare keyring.

It is new old stock and in mint condition .

It was made by the famous Manhattan Windsor Co. of Birmingham who were the premier automotive keyring manufacturers in Britain for over 25 years .

The vitreous enamel badge has Manhattan Windsor’s details cast into the reverse and is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather gold embossed ‘REAL LEATHER – MADE IN ENGLAND ‘

Produced in the early 1970s for use with 1962 -1967 Spitfire Mk II and also 1967 -1970 Spitfire Mk III – all of which were in daily use on the roads at that time in their thousands.

Whilst there were many thousands of Spitfires on the roads we believe that Manhattan Windsor will only have produced just one batch of keyrings for the cars – that’s just 50 keyrings .

Almost all of these keyrings will have by now have been lost or worn out & discarded .

This keyring is a very rare survivor .
