An original Triumph Spitfire keyring which will have been produced in the early 1970s – at which time there were still thousands of Spitfires in daily use on the roads in need of keyrings.
The keyring is new old stock – so is in mint condition – and is a rare survivor of the keyrings which were actually being used with the cars at the time.
The vitreous enamel badge is as fresh as the day it was made and is mounted onto a black faux leather keyfob.
I do speak with experience as I had a wedgewood blue 1965 Spitfire at the time – registered in Nottingham CNN 703C – I wonder if it has survived until the present day.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
