This lovely vitreous enamel badge in chrome plate is an exact reproduction of an original badge dating from the very early 1960s which is held in our reference collection.
The original is mounted onto a torpedo keyfob as shown here.
The torpedo keyfob shape went out of use very quickly in the very early 1960s – being replaced by the conventional keyfob shapes which have carried on to the present day.
This badge mounted onto a torpedo keyfob is correct for the very earliest 1961 – 1963 Triumph TR4s. Production of the TR4 carried on to 1967.
This torpedo shape is a very time consuming item to make by hand – and is thus more expensive than the other keyfob shapes which we offer. Can be ordered in any of our leather colours although originals would always have been in black leather.
