Home / Online Shop / VA E TORNA – original 1960s/ 1970s ? keyring
1 in stock
An original keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1960s or very early 1970s .
We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
We have very limited knowledge of what this keyring could be and have described it below as best we can .
Someone with rather more knowledge than us may recognise it as being a rare and valuable item and snap it up !
This has happened in several cases over the years with other ‘mystery’ keyrings !
Rather a mystery keyring which will have been produced in Italy as we can see ‘ Milano ‘ ( Milan ) on the reverse of the keyring and the text is in Italian .
The keyring comprises of a brass centre contained within a rubber tyre surround which is connected to the gilt plated key clasp by means of a few links of gilt plated chain .
The rubber tyre has a diameter of 1.4″ ( 36mm )
The key clasp has a knurled threaded section which can be unscrewed to allow keys to be fitted as can be seen in the final listing photo .
A stylised horse is leaping over a speeding car together with the text ” Va E Torna ” – ” It goes and comes back ”
” S II Prudente ” may be translated as ” Be careful ”
Rather worn on the reverse of the badge could be ” Bertone ” – if so then this keyring could be associated with the famous Italian design company which specialised in car styling and coachbuilding – but we may be getting carried away now …………………!
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
