Volkswagen Golf – original vintage new old stock 1990s Renamel keyring with burgundy leather keyfob

An original Volkswagen Golf keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1990s .

We have just this one example of this keyring with a burgundy leather keyfob to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in new old stock condition with an acrylic dome badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine burgundy leather  .

This keyring was produced by Renamel in their final Honeypot Lane London location shortly before they closed their doors .

Renamel had produced some of the first acrylic badged keyrings in the late 1970s & 1980s which had the very real advantage over traditional vitreous enamel badged keyrings in that the badge did not crack or break when dropped onto a hard surface .

Renamel’s original badges were marked ‘ RENAMEL made in England’ on the reverse but later badges like the one mounted onto this keyring were no longer marked.

Renamel’s keyrings were almost always produced in imitation leather but this keyring is an exception as the keyfob is in genuine leather .
