Volkswagen – original late 1960s/ early 1970s vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Volkswagen keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

The badge mounted onto this keyring has a small enamel chip in the white vitreous enamel at 4 0’clock on the the face of the badge – hardly noticeable when viewed at life size but can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos .

Apart from that small flaw the rest of the vitreous enamelling is in very good condition and we have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide .

Original 1960s/ 1970s Volkswagen keyrings and keyfob badges with the statement VW logo seem to be relatively scarce items – we have listed hardly any examples over the years .

The keyfob badges generally depicted the Wolfsburg crest at the time .
