Volvo – original 1960s vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Volvo keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This vitreous enamel badge is in good condition apart from the centre of the final ‘O’ of  ‘VOLVO’ which has not filled with white enamel at the time when the badge was made .

This can be very plainly seen in the enlarged high resolution photos but is not particularly noticeable when viewed at life size .

In the 1960s the vitreous enamel was hand laid and not every badge turned out perfectly .

A very slight enamel chip at 6 0’clock on the edge of the face of the badge can hardly be seen in the photos or in the flesh .

‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ proudly marked on the back of the badge – in the 1960s & 1970s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
