An original Volvo keychain which will have been produced in the 1950s.

Just this one keychain to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This is the oldest Volvo keyring ( keychain ) which we have ever listed – one of the very first ever to have been produced for use with Volvo cars .

Car keyrings only started to be produced in the mid 1950s and were originally usually keychains like this one.

It was only in the late 1950s that the first leather car keyrings made an appearance in any numbers .

This keychain is in very good condition and the rectangular badge measures 25mm x 22mm .

The gilt badge has a nickel plated centre and is attached to the clasp by means of a small chain link .

The clasp has a small latch which enables it to open for keys to be attached as can be seen in the photos .

This keychain will be original & correct for use with early Volvo 121/122S/131/132 and also PV544 .
