1 in stock
Just one keyring left
We have just two examples of this scarce original old stock Wolseley Hornet keyring to offer.
They are in superb unused condition. The vitreous enamel badges are faultless and are mounted onto the original leather keyfobs which are also in perfect condition.
There is something really special about having a completely original vintage keyring which was made at the same time as your car. These keyrings have not been remade or remounted by us – they are original vintage item
Made by a manufacturing business whose trademark was ‘Trend’ as can be seen embossed onto the back of the keyfob- we do see examples of their keyrings for other makes of car from time to time.
Despite comprehensive research we have never discovered who they actually were ! Small enamelling businesses came & went rather rapidly in the 1960s & 1970s – many were based in the Birmingham area which had a tradition of vitreous enamelling.
There may have been a tie-up with a badgemaker known as ‘Alexander’ – occasionally a badge marked ‘Alexander’ crops up mounted onto a ‘Trend’ leather keyfob.
Original keyrings made specifically for Wolseley Hornet are very rare – and almost non – existent in this condition.
Original & correct for your 1961 – 1969 Wolseley Hornet.
If your Hornet is one of the best of the 28,000 which were made – then it really should have one of these keyrings which will cost the same as a few gallons of fuel but will last rather longer.
When both keyrings have been sold then this listing will cancel.
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given
