Yamaha – original late 1960s/ early 1970s enamel on gilt plate badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Yamaha keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

Just this one keyring to offer – when this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

An original c. 50 year old Yamaha vitreous enamel keyfob badge with gilt plating which is in excellent condition but really looks it’s age .

These old gilt badges tend to ‘mellow’ – as this one has done – to give an aged appearance whilst remaining in excellent condition.

The gilt will polish up with metal polish but we prefer to leave them as they are including the back of the badge which bears the inscription ‘BRITISH MADE’

What an irony when these bikes together with other Japanese bikes was the ruin of the British Motorcycle Industry !

We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather.

This badge is original & correct for use with any 1960s or 1970s Yamaha motorcycle.
