We are not licensed by Ford Motor Company or any of their representatives to reproduce any of the registered Ford logos and badge designs.

None of the Ford badges on any of the keyrings offered for sale here in this website shop have been produced by us.

The keyrings in this listing are original vintage Ford torpedo keyrings which will have been produced 50 years ago.

When all 3 of these keyrings have been sold this listing will be cancelled- just 1 keyring left.

An original Ford torpedo keyring dating from the 1960s- and we have 3 to offer.

The keyrings are new old stock – so are in mint condition.

The vitreous enamel badges look so fresh that it looks as though they have just been taken from the firing kiln – and are 50 years old !

The badges are mounted onto  genuine leather torpedo keyfobs gold embossed ‘ Real Morocco Made in England’

Morocco was a term used for goatskin – and the fine pebbly appearance of the leather confirms that this is indeed goatskin.

Torpedo keyrings were made by Castles Unit Developments of Castle Gate Leicester UK in the early 1960s. They were the only manufacturer making torpedos.

It is believed that Castles then changed their name very briefly to ‘Craftsman’ before ceasing production altogether. We do very occasionally come across torpedo keyrings marked ‘Craftsman’.

An American connection has also been rumoured but so far not substantiated.

Morocco leather is more an American term than a British one – even though the keyfob is gold embossed ‘Made In England’.

Maybe we shall never know the truth – but it may well be that this keyring was actually made in USA.

The keyrings are original & correct for any 1960s Ford motor car ( UK or USA made )

When all 3 keyrings have been sold then this listing will cancel.
