Lexus – original new old stock 1990s Manhattan Windsor keyring – collector’s item

A superb original new old stock Lexus keyring produced by Manhattan Windsor which we would think will have been produced during the 1990s – towards the end of Manhattan Windsor’s production .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This is the only complete example of one of these keyrings which we have ever listed – all that we have listed in the past has been an occasional loose badge which we have offered remounted onto a new leather keyfob .

This new old stock Lexus keyring was produced by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham who have become recognised as being the premier manufacturer of the finest British automotive keyrings ever produced – sadly they closed their doors some time ago having produced keyrings for over 30 years .

This keyring has a nickel plated badge with jewellery quality black vitreous enamelling of the highest standard .

The pink tint on the edge of the badge is actually a reflection – photography is not our strongest subject !

The reverse of the badge is marked with Manhattan Windsor’s details .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine full grain black leather of a generous thickness which is gold embossed ‘ TOP GRAIN LEATHER  ‘ on the reverse of the keyfob .

This keyring has never been used and is still mounted onto the original display card.

This keyring will be one of the last top quality British made traditional keyrings with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a genuine leather keyfob ever produced for Lexus .

From the late 1950s until the 1990s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were produced in England – it was quite an industry .

Sadly almost all car keyrings are now produced overseas generally with plastic resin badges mounted onto imitation leather keyfobs .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive – a lovely keyring which could be used in any Lexus vehicle of the period or as a retro keyring in a much later car .
