Rover – original vintage new old stock 1990s Manhattan Windsor keyring

Superb original new old stock Rover keyrings produced by Manhattan Windsor which we would think will have been produced during the 1990s – towards the end of Manhattan Windsor’s production .

We have four examples of these keyrings to offer – when they have all been sold this listing will be cancelled.

We have listed several of these keyrings over the years and the nickel plating has not always been perfect .

The bright nickel plating on these 4 keyrings is absolutely flawless.

These new old stock Rover keyrings were produced by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham who have become recognised as being the premier manufacturer of the finest British automotive keyrings ever produced – sadly they closed their doors some time ago having produced keyrings for over 30 years .

The keyrings have nickel plated badges with jewellery quality burgundy wine red  vitreous enamelling of the highest standard .

The reverse of the badges is marked with Manhattan Windsor’s name .

The badges are mounted onto keyfobs in genuine black leather of a generous thickness which is gold embossed ‘ GENUINE HIDE  ‘ on the reverse of the keyfobs .

These keyrings will never have been used .

These keyrings will be some of the last top quality British made traditional keyrings with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a genuine leather keyfob ever produced for Rover .

From the late 1950s until the 1990s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were produced in England – it was quite an industry .

Sadly almost all car keyrings are now produced overseas generally with plastic resin badges mounted onto imitation leather keyfobs .

Lovely keyrings which could be used in any Rover car of the period .

Possibly the ultimate Rover keyring for that special car and for the Rover owner who ( like us ) still likes to use a traditional leather keyring !
