Jaguar E-type – modern resin enamel badge ( NOT an original 1960s badge ) mounted onto a new leather keyfob

A modern resin enamel Jaguar E-type badge which will have been produced during the last 15 years or so for the classic car market which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

This badge is NOT an original 1960s keyfob badge – it is a modern copy .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This badge is in new condition and is in modern resin based enamel – NOT ‘ old school’ vitreous enamel which the original badges were produced in .

Having said that – it probably wouldn’t look much different hanging in the car ignition until the badge was flipped over to reveal the criss-cross textured pattern on the reverse of the badge .

However  – the appearance of this modern enamel cannot be compared to the quality of vitreous enamel although it doesn’t chip or break when dropped onto a hard surface like vitreous enamel does !

We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive – at least if it is stolen from the car at a car show by someone mistaking it for a very valuable original 1960s keyring it will not be a complete disaster compared to having an original example stolen !
