An original Mercedes Benz vitreous enamel keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This relatively small vitreous enamel keyfob badge ( 24mm in diameter whereas most keyfob badges are around 27mm in diameter ) is in good condition .

Some slight wear to the nickel plating over the areas of high relief on the silver star and a stray inclusion of a tiny strand of metal which is well attached and plated over as can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos .

The badge bears all the hallmarks of a badge which was produced in Japan at the time .

Quite a lot of keyfob badges were produced in Japan in the 1960s and are not always marked as such .

Despite it’s relatively minor ‘ faults ‘ which are not particularly noticeable when viewed at life size in the hand this is an interesting little badge and the only example which we have ever listed .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
