1 in stock
An original Jaguar keyfob badge which will have been produced during the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .
We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This original vitreous enamel Jaguar keyfob badge is in excellent condition .
The only ‘flaw’ worthy of mention is a speck of what appears to be excess plating at the edge of the translucent red enamel just below the ‘AR’ of ‘JAGUAR ‘ .
This can be plainly seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos but is not particularly noticeable when the badge is viewed in the hand at life size.
Bud Marston describes these badges in detail with several photos in his ‘Vintage Jaguar Keyrings ‘ book .
All of those described by Bud appear to be identical to ours and without a maker’s name on the reverse .
Bud has noticed that the red enamel centres on his badges are not perfectly concentric with the outer perimeters – there is a greater area of black enamel border at the top of the badge containing ‘JAGUAR’ than at the bottom of the badge containing the ‘X’ at the base of the wreath – our badge is just the same .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in specially selected full grain black leather – so the badge can continue it’s travels in a Jaguar car now safely remounted onto a fresh new leather keyfob .
