Mercedes Benz – original vintage new old stock 1980s City of London dealership keyring by Caxton of Kew – collector’s item

An original Mercedes Benz dealership keyring which we would think will have been issued during the 1980s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This keyring showcases the standard which every keyring issued with a new Mercedes Benz motor car should be made to  ………………….

Whatever has happened to those standards ???

What a superb keyring which really shouts ‘ QUALITY’ and the proud owner of that brand new Mercedes Benz 40 years ago would have been bursting with pride to receive such a lovely keyring from the sales person who would have been equally proud to be issuing it .

This keyring is in new old stock condition and has probably lived it’s life in the glovebox or back at the owner’s home hidden at the back of a drawer .

In those generous times all those years ago two keyrings were generally issued with a new prestige car like a Mercedes Benz ………..one keyring tended to be used and the other would remain unused with the spare keys attached – this will be that unused keyring .

The beautiful nickel plated badge with cobalt blue vitreous enamelling is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .

The keyfob was produced by the legendary CAXTON of KEW badgemaker and keyring manufacturing company – say no more .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and would be a lovely addition to any 1980s Mercedes Benz – but would be of particular interest to be placed with a car known to have passed through this dealership at the time .
