An original Singer torpedo keyring which will have been produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
An original vintage torpedo keyring with the Singer ‘Spires’ badge in black vitreous enamel dating from the late 1950s or early 1960s and in excellent condition .
Made by Castles Unit Development Co. ( CUD ) of Castle Gate, Leicester UK.
The vitreous enamel badge mounted onto the keyfob which is in genuine black leather with a pebbly grain – this is most likely goat skin which is what CUD often used at the time .
The reverse of the keyfob is gold embossed with the supplying dealer’s details – this looks to have been a dealer in Den Haag in The Netherlands .
Original & correct for any late 1950s or early 1960s Singer car – but could have been bought for use with earlier cars such as SM1500/Hunter and Singer Nine at the time- and would certainly look to be the correct period if used in an earlier car.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
