1 in stock
An original Bugatti Owner’s Club torpedo keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s or possibly the very early 1970s.
We have just this one example of this very scarce 50 year old Bugatti torpedo keyring made by Craftsman to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This is only the 2nd example of one of these keyrings which we have ever seen and listed over the years.
It is in new old stock mint condition – and will have been in store for the last 50+ years.
CUD ( Castles Unit Developments Ltd of Castle Gate, Leicester ) morphed into the name of ‘Craftsman’ in the late 1960s – an American connection has been rumoured but never substantiated.
The reverse of the badge on this keyring is marked ‘Craftsman’ indicating that this keyring was produced in the late 1960s or very early 1970s .
The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a torpedo keyfob in genuine hide embossed ‘REAL MOROCCO – Made in England’.
Morocco leather was a term for goatskin – and the pebbly grain of the leather suggests that this torpedo keyfob will have been produced in goatskin.
